The early registration rate and guaranteed t-shirt deadline for the 9th Annual John Brewster Memorial 5K/1K has been extended to this Thursday, Sept 24. Registration forms are available in the admin office at school and local businesses in town! Ready, set...go!!

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thurs, Sept 24. All conferences will be VIRTUAL. Elementary students will be bringing home the sign-up sheet for parents to pick a time for their child's teacher to contact them. High school parents, for any teacher you would like to have a conference with, go EACH teacher's Google site (https://sites.google.com/scrantonrockets.net/shs-classroom-connections/home) and fill out the contact form. New supply of Rocket masks are in! We have 50 of each style. Masks will be available for purchase in the administration offices during school hours. They are $10 each. Masks will be sold on a first come basis, NO HOLDS!
MAP Testing is for K-6 today in the elementary library at 12:30.
This is a make up session for any student that did test last week.
Any virtual student that still has not taken the MAP Assessment needs to come to the elementary library tomorrow, September 17, 2020 at 12:30. Please come with either your Chromebook or iPad fully charged and a mask. Parents will not be allowed to escort their student into the building.
The monthly board meeting for September has been moved to Tuesday, Sept 29, 2020, at 7 p.m.

Don't forget about school pictures next Tuesday, Sept 15! Virtual students are welcome to come to the stage of the cafeteria between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. to have their picture made.
The Logan County Health Unit in Paris will host a mass flu shot/COVID testing clinic Sept 21-25, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Testing and shots will take place in the parking lot. Stay in your vehicle and they will come to you!
Our annual Flu Shot clinic for students and staff will be on Friday, October 23. More info and directions to get your child signed up coming soon!
Seniors: yearbook pictures (cap/gown, tux/drape) will be taken on Tuesday, Sept 15.
Fall pictures (ones for the yearbook) will be taken on Tues, Sept 15. Once pictures have been taken, proofs and order forms will be sent home with students. No money/orders are due on Tuesday!
