SHS Rocket Baseball came up just short in the 1A-4 District Tournament against the host Magazine Rattlers, finishing as District Runner-Up.

The Rockets put together an outstanding season, going undefeated in conference play and earning the 1A-4 Conference Championship! ⚾️

The Lady Rockets took down the County Line Indians in the 1A-4 District Tournament last night to claim the District Championship! 💥

With an undefeated run through conference play, they also bring home the 1A-4 Conference Championship trophy — an incredible accomplishment!

Next stop: Regionals at Mulberry. Let’s keep the momentum rolling! 🚀

ATLAS Testing Update:
The district has been without internet service since Monday afternoon, 4/27/26. It is a provider issue and not on the district side of things. Because of this, all ATLAS testing dates will be pushed back by 1 day. That means IF we have internet service tomorrow, 4/29/26, 3rd & 4th grades will will take their last and 5th and 6th grades will not start testing until Thursday, 4/30/26. This will not affect kindergarten through second grade testing schedule unless internet service is not back by tomorrow.

5-6 grade students will be testing April 29-May 4.

Phones are down district wide. If you need to contact the school to leave a message, please contact Lakaen Schluterman for the elementary and Whitney Brown for high school.

🎉🚀Congratulations to the SHS Quiz Bowl Team on an incredible achievement as the 1A State Runner-Up! 🎉 The team will share a $1,500 scholarship among its members—well deserved for all their hard work and dedication. A special shoutout to senior Alex Harmon for being named to the All-Tournament Team, and to Coach Stephanie Canada for earning 1A Senior High Quiz Bowl Coach of the Year honors! We loved celebrating this sweet moment together and sending our seniors off with inspiration for the future! 🎓✨
