The school board meeting scheduled for Wed, Feb 17, has been postponed until next Wed, Feb 24, due to inclement weather.
JCGC softball registration deadline has been extended to February 23.
Storm shelter will at open at 7PM if anyone needs a warm place.
Scranton School District will be closed on Tuesday (2/16) and Wednesday (2/17) due to inclement weather. These days are SNOW days, no assignments! Both days will be added to the end of the year. Have fun, be safe, and stay warm!

Sr Boys game tomorrow (2/13) hosting WYC in first round of District has been pushed back to begin at 3:30p.m.

Today's make up game with Western Yell county is canceled.
Scranton Schools will pivot to a digital learning day tomorrow, February 11, due to incoming inclement weather. Teachers have prepared students for this possibility. Students will have either paper lessons or will need to check Google for assignments. Campus will be closed.
Basketball update (all dependent upon weather):
Sr Girls play WYC at 3:30 on 2/11 for conference makeup game. Game will be at WYC. District will begin Monday for Sr Girls.
Sr Boys will play WYC on 2/13 at 3pm in District Tournament. Game will be played at Scranton.
Both games tonight (Junior Boys District Finals & Senior Girls @ Western Yell) have been canceled due to inclement weather.
Senior High games on Friday night against County Line have been canceled. We will be playing in District on Saturday. Will know times and locations Wednesday evening.
On Friday (2/12) and Monday (2/15), we will pivot to virtual learning. Students will not report to school on these days. Students should be prepared to do lessons from home on these two days.
Due to COVID-19, no deliveries to school will be allowed for Valentine's Day.
UPDATE: Senior Girls game at Western Yell will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Parents...February 12th and 15th are virtual days. The students will have work to do at home, but will not attend class on those days.
Senior girls basketball will travel to Western Yell on Wednesday (2/10) for makeup game. Game will begin at 5pm.
The Junior boys basketball team beat Western Yell today in the district semifinals. They will play this Wednesday (2/10) against Mt Vernon-Enola at 5pm. Game will be played at Mt Vernon. Good luck, Rockets!
