Congratulations to Kayla Siebenmorgen for receiving the Governor’s Scholars Scholarship. The Governor’s Scholars Scholarship Program awards $5,000 annually for graduating high school seniors based on academic achievement. To qualify, students must receive a 32 composite on their ACT and maintain a minimum of a 3.50 GPA. Congratulations Kayla!!

Reminding all Rocket fans that tickets must be purchased online (https://gofan.co/app/school/AAA) or using the Go Fan app (only available on Apple devices) for the State tournament. Be super careful when you purchase tickets, as the teams could be playing at fields in Izard County or Melbourne. The list you'll pick from shows 2021-1A BASEBALL or SOFTBALL and then by location (Melbourne HS or Izard County). Softball Round 1 is played at Izard County. The SHS softball and baseball teams won the first round of regionals yesterday and advance to round 2. They both play at 2:30 today! Regionals are here, so come out and support these Rockets! Don’t forget to get your tickets online, we can’t take money at the gate!

The faculty and staff loved the delicious enchilada lunch served today by the Holt family!! We are so thankful for the support of our parents!!!

Sixth grader, Morgan Lensing, made her end of year presentation in her class and it just so happened that’s what fourth grade is learning about in literacy, so she got to present to to them as well!! Good job, Morgan!!
