JCBC Fall Baseball
Scranton boys age 5-12 interested in playing baseball need to sign up online at johnsoncountybc.sportssignup.com. The current plan is to play, drafting end of August, beginning play mid September, and playing approximately 6 weeks. Please help spread the word and get signed up online ASAP!! No paper signups!
7th GRADE ORIENTATION: Incoming 7th graders are invited to attend an orientation on Thursday, August 20, at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium. Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. ONLY ONE PARENT per student will be allowed to attend. We hope to see you there!

K-6 student supplies will be purchased in bulk again this year! Save yourself the trip and just send $20 to school with your child to help cover the cost!
K-6 classroom/teacher assignments will be posted next week after new student registration is held this Friday.
REMINDER: New student registration will be on Friday, July 31, 2020, 8am-3pm. Please limit the number of people coming in and wear a mask when you enter the building. Students entering grades K-6 will register at the elementary office and students entering grades 7-12 will register at the high school office.
Seniors we will be at the gym from 2 to 4 today and we will give you your diplomas and awards. We know many of you have families in and want pictures. Please stay in your cars.
One of our seniors has had a high fever since last night and was around other seniors. I can not, and will not name names. Out of an abundance of caution we have had to cancel graduation.
GRADUATION CANCELED. Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to have graduation today. Something will be done for the seniors as soon as possible. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience.

If you need special seating please see administration. If you have fever or have been exposed to coronavirus please do not attend this ceremony. We do apologize over how we have had to proceed with this graduation. We are trying to do the best we can in a difficult situation.
Seating around cones is first come first serve, you must sit in bleachers unless you are unable. Gym chairs are for graduates. Gym will open at 3. Please do not congregate in gym after graduation. Please help us make this as enjoyable as possible for our 2020 graduates.
All guests at graduation are required to wear masks. Graduates will be provided masks, all guests need to bring their own as a limited amount will be available at the door. Families must sit together around a designated cone. Cones are spread across both sides.
Graduation is this Sunday at 4. Graduates need to be in the high school library at 3. Seniors please follow the dress code. NO jeans, tennis shoes, or worn out dirty boots! Graduates are limited to 8 guests, you do not need a ticket, it will be an honor system.
Congratulations Scranton FFA members on a successful year. Sub area and district awards in leadership and career development events.
There will be a special school board meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. in the administration offices for personnel matters.

Arrangements for Mrs. Lisa Martin have been made. Due to COVID, there will only be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. She will be at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville and can be viewed Tuesday. Her family is so thankful for the acts of kindness displayed during this time. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
