Due to the number of days we have missed for Covid and ice/snow, we will be making up four of the days we missed. We will no longer have a Mid-Winter break or Good Friday holiday. Students will be in school on February 18, February 21, April 15, and May 26 to make up those days.

Senior High District starts this Saturday, February 12. Sacred Heart is hosting at the Morrilton auxiliary gym. Girls will play Western Yell County at noon. Boys will play Western Yell County at 1:15 p.m. Bus will leave at 10:15 a.m. Good luck, Rockets!

It's National School Counseling Week 2022 Mrs. Lindsey Baskin is our elementary counselor. She serves students in grades K-6. Mrs. Whitney Brown is our high school counselor. She serves students in grades 7-12. We are proud to have these two amazing ladies in our school district. They do an awesome job and we don't know what we would do without them! Scranton School District will pivot to AMI learning for Thursday, February 3, 2022, due to incoming inclement weather. Students will have AMI packets sent home with them or assignments will be posted on Google Classroom to complete. In the event we must remain out of school on Friday, an announcement will be made as early as possible. Basketball games and Senior Night scheduled Thursday night against Western Yell County have been canceled. Scranton School District WILL allow deliveries on Valentine's Day. No glass or balloons will be allowed on the school bus. Please do not send these items if your child will be riding the bus home from school. All deliveries must be made to the building offices. No deliveries will be made directly to the classrooms. Dec/Jan Rise Above Rocket: Gabe Ballard Gabe is in the third grade at Scranton Elementary. He was nominated by Allison Riddell. Mrs. Riddell said that Gabe is such a sweet student and classmate to have. Gabe always volunteers to help a classmate or teacher out if he sees they need something. He uses his manners and is always very respectful. Gabe always works really hard in class and tries his best in all he does.
