🎣🌳 Reeling in memories at Dublin Park! Last Thursday, our Scranton Opportunity School students traded classrooms for nature's classroom, diving into a day of fishing fun and outdoor camaraderie.
With a twist of creativity, they fashioned their own fishing rods from scratch, transforming blanks into personalized tools for adventure. Then, with baited breath and eager anticipation, they cast their lines into the shimmering waters, chasing the thrill of the catch.
As the sun danced across the sky, so did laughter and chatter around the cookout grill. Sizzling burgers and stories shared under the open sky forged bonds that will last far beyond this day.
Here's to the magic of hands-on learning, the serenity of nature's embrace, and the joy found in every cast and catch. Until the next chapter of exploration begins! 🌟

Our Scranton Opportunity School students had an incredible opportunity to explore the world of plastics and water quality with Dr. Varnell. Together, they delved into the impact of plastics on our environment, especially our precious waterways.
But the learning didn't stop there! Our students took their newfound knowledge and put it into action by testing the water quality of our school pond. 🌿💧
