π Exciting News Alert! π
Thrilled to share that Magean Warnock from the Arkansas Department of Child and Family Serviceβs human trafficking and missing persons division recently visited Scranton High to educate our students in grades 7-12 about a crucial topic: human trafficking awareness. ππ
The program was incredibly insightful, covering vital aspects like recognizing signs, how to report, and the dangers lurking on social media platforms. It's imperative for our young minds to be informed and empowered to stay safe in today's digital world.
Huge thanks to Magean Warnock and the ADCFS team for their dedication to spreading awareness and keeping our community safe. Let's continue to stay vigilant and support each other in this important cause! πͺ #HumanTraffickingAwareness #StaySafe #ScrantonHighSchool #CommunityFirst π

Storm season is here, just a few reminders for using the school storm shelter!
We always open the shelter when storms are forecasted. The shelter is not open to the public during school hours, as our students will be in there in the event of a storm. Please be mindful of these rules!

Softball & Baseball CANCELED today due to incoming weather!

Pictures of Skylah's visit to the library.

Scranton Opportunity School student, Skylah Schluterman visited the elementary classes in the library today to read with them a book about teddy bears and give them a teddy bear made out of a washcloth that she crafted herself. The students then enjoyed time with Skylah as she helped them pick out their new library books for the week!

Spring Portraits will be taken for Scranton Elementary students this Thursday, March 14th.
