On February 15, Mrs. Dixon's Market & Analytics class & FBLA members, along with Mrs. Wewer's Skills Trade students attended a tour of the Hanesbrands Inc. manufacturing facility in Clarksville.
Thank you Hanes for allowing SHS students to see a real-world example of the manufacturing industry and hear different occupations available within the company. It was also interesting to be able to apply business concepts learned in the classroom to what we learned on the tour about product development, human resources, and other business concepts.

Congratulations to the SHS Rocket Junior Boys, both conference and district tournament champions! Way to go, Rockets!
Congratulations to the SHS Junior Lady Rockets basketball team on conference runner-up and district tournament runner-up! Great season, ladies!
SHS Rocket Swimmer, Isabel Shelton, competed in the 4A-1A West Conference Championship Meet in Clarksville on Feb 9. She is the 2023 Girl's Champion in the 200 Individual Medley and the Girl's Runner-Up in the 100 Backstroke. Isabel earned All-Conference honors and qualified to compete at the State Championship Meet in Texarkana on Feb 25. Congratulations, Isabel! Good luck at State!
Congratulations to the Junior Lady Rockets and Junior Rockets, both advancing to the District Tournament finals on Saturday. Lady Rockets will play at 4pm, followed by the Rockets at 5:15pm at Guy Perkins.
On February 8th, SHS FBLA attended the 2023 FBLA District I Spring Leadership Conference in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
