The Junior High Rockets will be playing in a tournament in Dover starting this Saturday. See brackets here. The girls bracket is the first one, with our girls playing at noon. Boys bracket is the second one, with the boys playing at 1pm.

π¬π SHS students had the exciting opportunity to attend Science Day at the University of the Ozarks on Thursday, Nov 7th! Students participated in hands-on sessions and informative presentations, diving into the natural science and math programs that U of O offers. Our students left with a deeper understanding of potential career paths and the endless possibilities within the fields of science and mathematics. ππ’ A big thank you to the U of O for hosting such an engaging event and to our students for representing SHS with enthusiasm and curiosity! ππ¬

Basketball games tonight at Valley Christian in Russellville have been canceled. Buses are running about 5-10 minutes behind after getting a late start leaving. TORNADO SHELTER WILL BE OPEN TONIGHT!

Basketball schedule change for Friday night!


Lots of character pumpkins have already made their way to the elementary library! Remember tomorrow, October 31, is the last day to bring a pumpkin for the book character contest.



π Mrs. Amy Schlutermanβs class explored mountain erosion with a fun Skittles experiment after reading about mountains today! They watched how water slowly wears away at the colors, just like real mountains. Great job, young scientists! ππ #HandsOnLearning

We had a fantastic time learning about careers in enforcement, biology, and fisheries. Your stories and insights were both engaging and inspiring. Scranton seniors had a great time at Senior Day at the University of the Ozarks! They explored scholarship and academic opportunities, toured the beautiful campus, and enjoyed a delicious lunch together. It was a fantastic chance for them to connect with the university and learn more about what it has to offer.
