Scranton Schools

With schools across the state missing several days due to the inclement weather, the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education is allowing schools to apply for a waiver regarding how to make up for the days missed. Schools must still get a total of 1068 educational hours of school to qualify. We have revised our daily schedules to extend the instructional minutes each day beginning on Monday, January 29, 2024, through the end of the school year to accumulate enough minutes to cover the five days we have missed through January 22, 2024. Any days missed after this date will be added to the end of the year.  By doing this, our last day of school is currently back to May 22, 2024. Click HERE to see the updated 2023-2024 school calendar.
